Epic doesn’t say how many of the registered users are active daily or even monthly. Instead, he says last month the cumulative game time was 3.2 billion hours.
The game manufacturer tries to make Fortnite a kind of virtual universe in which people play, but also socialize. Beyond the main activities, the building and the shot, the game has lately acquired capabilities that go beyond the horizon of a simple battle royale.
Epic has created an area he calls party royale, an island where players can relax and talk to each other, taking a break from the main activities of the game.
